Tuesday Toesday Tip- Using an extra large sheet in barefoot massage (#2)

Transcript…

I’m Mary-Claire Fredette with the Center for Barefoot Massage, and I have your Tuesday Toes-day tip for today. So I did a post a while ago about using hair ties to wrap around the corners of oversized sheets, twin sheets, if you have a 30 or 32-inch massage table or even one that’s smaller. And today I’ve got another tip that’s similar, which came up because of my rubber bands went missing one day.

So I’ve got these sheets that are extra-long twins, and my massage table’s 32 inches. And so in order to have this tip work you need either an Earthlite protective cover which goes all the way around your table, or you need simply a fleece that goes all the way around your table, but you don’t need any hairbands for this one.

So you put your sheet on the table.

And if you look at that you can see this thing is really huge. It’s extra long. It’s too big and a little bit dangerous to be a barefoot massage therapist to work on this because it will slide around a lot.

So, pull the sheet, nice and snug, and take the corner. And then I usually start at the end here and twist it a little bit. And that slides underneath the elastic here on the corner.

That will get it nice and snug and I can tuck this and right here.

And I’m going to do the same thing on the other end,

I’m going to pull it nice and snug.

And there’s not as much fabric here, so I’m just going to twist that underneath.

And then I want to make it look nice. It doesn’t matter that much since you have a flat sheet on top of it so you won’t really see that a whole lot, but this is nice and snug, it looks really nice. It makes it safe for you to be your bare foot massage.

And there you have it, your Tuesday Toesday tip. Make sure you subscribe to see any future videos and we’ll see you next time. Bye.
